A Tour of Scotland by the Books of the Noel Collection

July 10, - October 9, 2023
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

We took a tour of the fair isles and bonny hills of Scotland in an exhibit featuring the cultural, political, and literary history of early Scotland.  We traveled back in time to the 18th and 19th centuries as we explored the mystical beauty of this ancient land as seen through examples of its poetry, scientific accomplishments, political movements – its language and its legends.  Highlighted books included materials printed in Gaelic; hand-colored illustrations of the Scottish countryside; and gentlemen in kilts.
