The Noel Collection is located on the third floor of Noel Memorial Library on the LSU-Shreveport campus. The collection boasts a reading room with comfortable seating and excellent light along with its exhibit room, vault, and stacks. Display cases used in exhibits are located in the reading room, the exhibit room, and the atrium just outside the reading room.

Dr. Robert C. Leitz, III holds the Ruth Herring Noel Endowed Chair for the Curatorship of the James Smith Noel Collection. Prior to this appointment, Leitz was Professor of English at Louisiana State University in Shreveport since 1973. Leitz is also President of the Noel Foundation Board of Directors.
Martha Lawler is an Associate Librarian and the Principal Cataloger of the James Smith Noel Collection. She has been a cataloger at the Noel Collection since 1996 and previously worked as a graduate assistant with the English Short Title Catalogue. Lawler has been actively involved in the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries since 1998.
Andrea Schuba is a Cataloger for the Noel Collection. In addition to cataloging collection materials, she is in charge of the collection's social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr) and serves as the webmaster of this site. She also works with the Principal Cataloger on the collection's new exhibits.
