Research Our Collections
While much of the contents of the collection are still being explored, 70,000+ items (out of an estimated 200,000-250,000) are already cataloged and searchable through LSU-Shreveport's online catalog.*
Once you have found your desired book(s), mark down each book's call number and location within the collection. This information is found under "Shelf Number" and "Status" at the bottom of the record in the gray box. Having these two pieces of information will make it easier to retrieve your item from the collection.
If you have any other questions about using the catalog, please don't hesitate to contact one of our catalogers or come see us in person. We can walk you through the best ways to use our catalog to get the most out of your research.
*Catalog records are also accessible through OCLC WorldCat; however, it is impossible to differentiate between Noel Collection items and Noel Memorial Library items through the WorldCat system.
