Research Our CollectionsWhile much of the contents of the collection are still being explored, 70,000+ items (out of an estimated 200,000-250,000) are already cataloged and searchable through LSU-Shreveport's online catalog.*
Once you have found your desired book(s), mark down each book's call number and location within the collection. This information is found under "Shelf Number" and "Status" at the bottom of the record in the gray box. Then please fill out our Resource Request Form and submit it via email to Dr. Alexander Mikaberidze ([email protected]) and Martha Lawler ([email protected]):
If you plan to see us in-person, we also ask that you review our Reading Room Policy before your visit.
If you have any other questions about using the catalog, please don't hesitate to contact one of our catalogers or come see us in person. We can walk you through the best ways to use our catalog to get the most out of your research.
*Catalog records are also accessible through OCLC WorldCat; however, it is impossible to differentiate between Noel Collection items and Noel Memorial Library items through the WorldCat system. |
