This exhibit of materials from the Noel Collection examined the trades, transportation, and travel routes of pioneers in the first century of United States history. Early Americans encountered many challenges and adventures as they traveled from the East to the West in hopes of a better life. The items on exhibit included information about the work of tradesmen, the daily life of miners, and the exploration of famous pioneers.
