Pentameters and Prosodies: Poetry across Periods and Places

Past Exhibit
March 1, 2019 – April 30, 2019

Poetry expresses our emotions, desires and perceptions in a way that is deeply inspirational and profoundly authentic.  From Shakespeare’s sonnets to the yearnings of a former slave in the 1700s to the vibrant verses of the 20th century, human beings have taken this uniquely human expression and made it an important part of our existence.  Some of the best examples of artistic expression were on display from the Noel Collection.
