Napoleon: His Life, His Times, His Battles

Past Exhibit
August 1 - September 30, 2019
In celebration of Napoleon Bonaparte’s 250th birthday, this exhibit examined his life, times and battles, both political and personal.  In the midst of political uncertainty after the French Revolution, Napoleon rose to power and led France to great imperial heights only to be exiled and lose it all in the end. The materials in the exhibit showed the complex personality of the man and the tumultuous events of his life and reign.
