"Give Me Liberty": The American Pursuit of Independence

This exhibit examined the various facets of the struggle for American independence.  From the fields of battle to the salons of Europe, America sought to establish itself as a sovereign nation and became a force of change and an inspiration to millions.  Diverse materials including newspapers, maps, and magazines from and about the Revolutionary Era were on display.
