Exploration of the New World

January 11, 2024 – April 10, 2024
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The ancient culture and intriguing history of Central and South America were on display in the Noel Collection with materials from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.  We explored the mysterious, ancient rituals of the Pre-Columbian Mayans of Mexico and the Incas of Peru.  Experienced their first encounters with European colonization with original maps and first-hand accounts.  Were amazed at the advancements in architecture, science, and community development, as we marveled at the natural beauty of the region.
